1. HOW TO BOOK / QUOTES AND RESERVATIONS: Bookings can be made online by contacting info@wsgroup.ca or by calling the number listed on this website.
2. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS:
All prices are in CAD. PST, GST, and MRDT will be added where applicable.
To secure a booking, credit card details, prepayment, or an approved credit account is required. The provided credit card or account will be charged for any cancellations or no-shows in accordance with the cancellation policies.
For lodging and activity bookings, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, followed by an additional 25% non-refundable deposit 90 days before arrival. The remaining 50% non-refundable deposit must be paid 45 days before arrival.
If a deposit is required, and full payment is not received by the due date, Chilko Lake Lodge reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain all deposits paid up to that point.
Invoices may be reissued in case of errors or omissions, and guests accept the responsibility to pay the corrected amount or decline to maintain the reservation.
3. PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Payment will be processed through Square using any accepted payment method or via e-transfers.
4. CANCELLATIONS:
All lodging and activity bookings require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, an additional 25% non-refundable deposit 90 days before arrival, and the remaining 50% non-refundable deposit 45 days before arrival. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
Chilko Lake Resort reserves the right to modify or cancel accommodations due to necessary repairs or acts of God. In such cases, Chilko Lake Lodge will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable alternative or issue a full refund of all deposits.
5. REFUND POLICY:
Once payment has been made in accordance with the above policies, it is non-refundable unless otherwise discussed and approved by the General Manager.
6. RATES AND CHANGES:
Rates are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD$) and are subject to change at any time without prior notice. PST, GST, and MRDT will be added to the quoted rates as applicable.
Rates do not include transfers, meals, tours, or activities unless specifically stated on the invoice.
Any verbal quote provided is an estimate and will be subject to written confirmation of the reservation.
Certain rates may have minimum stay requirements, particularly during special events or peak periods.
All prices, payments, and conditions should be confirmed at the time of booking.
7. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT:
Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM, and standard check-out time is 10:00 AM.
To guarantee early arrival before 2:00 PM, a room must be reserved for the previous night, which will incur an additional nightly charge.
Late check-out is subject to the property's discretion and must be requested the night before departure. Additional charges may apply for late check-out, and these fees are subject to change.
8. SECURITY DEPOSITS / PHOTO I.D. / WAIVERS:
Upon check-in, guests are required to present an acceptable form of photographic identification.
A credit card pre-authorization of CAD$1,000.00 will be required at check-in and may be used to cover incidental charges, including any breakages, damage, or excessive cleaning fees incurred during your stay.
If a credit card is not available, a cash deposit of CAD$1,000.00 will be required to cover potential incidental costs. Any unused deposit will be refunded upon checkout.
The property will pre-authorize all credit cards upon arrival. This process validates the presented credit card and helps protect both the cardholder and merchant from fraud.
-The property may pre-authorize a credit card for estimated charges that the guest may incur during their stay, including a security deposit for potential damages.
-The pre-authorized amount will be held by the credit card company for up to 14 days.
-The pre-authorization will temporarily affect your available funds and spending limit.

Once a pre-authorization is made, we cannot release, reduce, or adjust the authorized amount until the final account is processed at checkout. This restriction is imposed by the bank and cannot be altered.
All guests are required to agree to the waiver as part of the check-in process and may also be asked to sign the waiver.
9. CHILDREN:
Children are defined as individuals aged 12 or under, while infants are considered to be 3 years old or younger.
Children’s rates apply when they occupy the same room/unit as at least one adult and use the existing bedding.
For any other combination of children and adults, please inquire about pricing at the time of booking.
10. UNACCOMPANIED MINORS:
All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The property reserves the right to refuse any booking if the legal guardian, aged 18 or older, is unable to provide current photo ID or proof of guardianship upon check-in, when requested.
11. ACCOMMODATION & SERVICES:
While we make every effort to ensure that the descriptions of our property’s facilities and services are accurate, please note that our property is continually being updated, upgraded, and occasionally certain facilities may be temporarily unavailable. If a specific feature or facility is essential to your stay, we recommend confirming its availability at the time of booking.

Facilities listed may not apply to all room types, and views and features within each accommodation category may vary and cannot be guaranteed.
11. SPECIAL REQUESTS:
While we strive to accommodate all special requests, we are unable to guarantee their fulfillment.
12. MAPS AND IMAGES:
Maps and images provided are for general informational purposes only and may not accurately reflect actual routes, locations, or services.
Many destination images used in our advertising and on our website have been supplied by professional photographers, tourism authorities, or guests.
13. TRAVEL INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to their trip. We suggest that the policy includes, but is not limited to, coverage for the following: loss of deposit due to cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money, and medical expenses.
14. INCLUSIONS:
Rates do not include transfers, meals, tours, or additional activities unless explicitly stated in the booking confirmation. Any services not included in the package rate, such as meals, room service, laundry, telephone calls, tours, and activities, must be paid in full prior to checkout.
If not settled, these charges will be applied to the credit card on file or deducted from the deposit held.
15. RESPONSIBILITY:
On occasion, third-party products may be included in special packages. As an agent for these services, the hotel or resort is not liable for any failure by service providers to fulfill travel arrangements or for any errors, changes, or alterations made by them after booking acceptance. All coupons, vouchers, receipts, and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions of the respective service providers.
Chilko Lake Lodge, its employees, or agents do not accept responsibility for any act, omission, default, or negligence that results in injury, damage, or loss to persons or goods, regardless of cause. We do not warrant nor are we responsible for the accuracy of any information provided by our service providers regarding travel arrangements.
Chilko Lake Resort and its staff will not be liable for any accidents, injuries, delays, property damage, or personal losses incurred by you or your companions in connection with accommodations, transportation, or other travel services. This includes occurrences beyond our control, such as acts of terrorism, acts of God, vehicle defects, war, strikes, theft, cancellations, civil disorder, disasters, government regulations, or changes in itinerary or schedules.
Please note that the responsibility for travel documents, compliance with laws, and regulations of various governments lies with the guest.
